Day 1, Friday

Departure 7.00 from Zurich

Arrival 12.30 Moscow at Domodedovo airport

Out guide and driver will meet you at the airport in the international arrival hall, and you will be transferred by a comfortable Mercedes minivan to your hotel.

After check-in and some time to relax in your room, you guide will take you on a walking tour of central Moscow. You will see Red Square, Zaryadie Park, the Kremlin (outside), the Bolshoy Theater (outside) and much more.

Dinner: on your own. Your guide will advise the best restaurants within walking distance from your hotel and make a reservation for you.

Day 2, Saturday

10.00 Your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and take you on the sightseeing tour of Moscow including the most scenic photo stops:

  • Christ the Saviour Cathedral (including going up the viewing galleries at the top to enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of central Moscow)
  • New Maiden Convent (from outside)
  • The Sparrow Hills and the University Campus – the highest point in Moscow with a viewing deck

14.00 Enjoy lunch (included) at the restaurant located on the 85th floor in one of the Moscow City skyscrapers famous for its bird’s eye views over the whole city.

After lunch, your guide will take you on the Moscow metro tour that showcases the most beautiful, opulent and even extravagant Moscow metro stations.

Ca. 17.30 – back to the hotel

Evening on your own. We would suggest you book a Bolshoi Theater performance, or visit the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, or the Moscow Historical Circus. We will be happy to search options and book tickets for you.

Day 3, Sunday

10.00 Your guide will meet you in the lobby of the hotel and will take you to the State Tretyakov Gallery, the biggest collection of Russian art. Ancient icons, portraits of royals, cityscapes showing Moscow centuries ago, amusing genre scenes, and simply stunningly beautiful works of art – all this makes a tour of this museum a truly exciting experience.

13.00 Enjoy lunch at Café Pushkin, the most nationally famous and internationally acclaimed Moscow restaurant. This place recreates fine dining environment and cuisine of the 19th century Moscow, and is definitely a must.

In the afternoon, enjoy a private tour of the Space Exploration Museum showcasing the achievements of Russia in technology and space. The USSR pioneered the space age, and the first sputnik, the first astronaut dogs, and the first capsule that took man to space can be seen there, alongside with many more equally fascinating exhibits.

Ca. 17.00 Back to the hotel, time to change and relax.

At 18.00 your guide will pick you up and take you to the Radisson Boat quay.

19.00 – 21.30 Enjoy a scenic Moscow-by-night boat ride and onboard dinner as you go by with all the lights and illumination highlighting the historical sights. After the dinner, you will be privately transferred back to the hotel.

Day 4, Monday

9.00 This is the Kremlin and Armoury tour day. Your guide will meet you in the lobby and your luggage will be loaded into the car, and then your will proceed to the Kremlin gate.

The Kremlin is the office of the President today and an outdoor museum that features ancient cathedrals, attractions such as Tsar Cannon and Tsar Bell, palaces and gardens. Your tour will include a visit into one of the cathedrals, the coronation church of the Russian Tsars, and formerly the main cathedral of Russia.

After the tour of the Kremlin grounds your guide will take you to the Armoury. This name is somewhat misleading, indeed, it’s the treasury of the Russian Tsars that still possesses artifacts of great value, such as crowns and other regalia, coronation dresses, carriages, diamond-studded bibles and, of course, the royal Faberge Eggs.

14.00 Lunch with black caviar tasting in a restaurant overlooking the Kremlin and Red Square.

16.00 Depart Moscow for the airport.
